Metka Feher Pal

Metka Feher Pal

Metka is an expert in closing sales pitches. She says there is a big difference between selling and closing. Closing means that the customer buys and pays you. A sales pitch usually ends with the customer saying: “I’ll think about it! I have to discuss it with my partner. I’ll call you.” This excuse is never the real reason why the customer doesn’t buy a product or service. The real reason is that we didn’t manage to find the customer’s problem (due to which they would buy the product in the first place) and diminish their fears. Metka’s mission is to establish a new culture of selling in Slovenia where selling as a profession is going to get the recognition and respect that it deserves.
Branko Žunec

Branko Žunec

As the owner and director Branko understands and lives what he teaches. The trademark BMC International stands for high-quality education; something he is especially proud of. In his 15-year career Branko has become one of the best trainers and coaches in Slovenia and has made quite a name for himself abroad as well (Germany, Croatia, Serbia, Switzerland, Bulgaria, France, USA, Chile, to name a few). The participants of Branko’s trainings – at home and abroad – are enthusiastic about his approach; presenting complex topics with the greatest of ease, adding numerous examples from the business world and spicing it up with great energy and a sense of humour. He develops his own models and programs, upgrades his knowledge with training sessions and workshops abroad, as well as by reading domestic and international literature.
Nataša Brunec

Nataša Brunec

Nataša Brunec has a degree in business administration and has for 18 years successfully worked in various expert and management positions in the banking sector in development, banking technology, and marketing. She gained experience in management, project management, training, and public communication. Nataša Brunec has recently been using the GTD® method in her professional and private life. She translated the book “Getting Things Done” and has acquired the title Certified GTD Trainer (David Allen Academy Certificate).
Petra Majdič

Petra Majdič

The Olympic Games are the biggest dream of every professional athlete who learns, grows, and strives to make progress for many years and especially learns from life for life. In sports the path to achieving ones goals is marked by overcoming obstacles. On the path to the Olympic dream overcoming obstacles, seeking internal and external motivation, and building a strong team were crucial. The main characteristics that marked our team and the wish to push the limits that exist in our own minds and the mental patterns of our past made us stronger and faster in the battle against our relentless and financially independent competitors. May experience unite and connect us. Seeking new paths and dimensions of success can be fun and exciting.
Dr. Ivan Misner

Dr. Ivan Misner

He is one of the most recognized experts on business networking in the world and the author of many books: some of his works are among the best-selling books from the publishers New York Times and Amazon.com. CNN called him the “Father of Modern Networking” and Entrepreneur magazine the “Networking Guru”. The organization was founded based on a simple idea, which Dr Misner had when his company faced a crisis. He had a consultancy business and his company dependent on one big client. Overnight this client’s company closed its doors and he lost the majority of his business. His marketing budget was limited so he started to seek other ways of acquiring new customers.

Bigger team, more successful company

Damir Novak / No Man's Land – Are We too Big to Stay Small?

Many small companies and businesses usually start off well, growing nicely in the first phase due to relatively low cost and high efficiency. However, this fairytale often comes to an abrupt end when more work and more business leaves us with less money, less time, and less satisfaction. This short lecture presents the reasons why, as well as the phases and signs to help you recognize and prevent this threat.

BARBARA ZADEK, MATEVŽ KAŠE, UROŠ FERLIN

Building online relationship for business success

BNI members on how to build visibility, credibility and use online networking as an addition to offline networking (social networks, blog, webpages).

Matevž Kaše: wwwonderful Business!

How important is it to coordinate online and traditional communication? These two types of communication now merge into one homogeneous and effective form of contemporary communication. In this lecture, learn why online presence can only be effective by treating every point of contact between the company and a customer equally.

Matevž Kaše

Uroš Ferlin: Action Button: Your Silent Networker

Is online networking the same as offline networking? The relationship is essential in both. An online relationship is created with a call to action. How? In this lecture we examine three examples of calls to action (on an organisation’s website, in an email, and on Facebook), and add three concrete tips on how to boost online networking.

 Uroš Ferlin

Barbara Zadek: How to Trust though an Invisible Wire?

How to build and keep customers’ trust in the digital age? A good relationship and trust are essential for longterm success – in marriage, in friendship, and in sales. Clear communication and the awareness that you care about those visiting your website are YOUR keys to success. How to build a relationship with customers online, through this very impersonal channel? What tools can a company use to maintain and strengthen the relationship with its business partners and generate sales through such an impersonal channel? This lecture tackles all those pertinent questions and addresses how to learn what you want from your customers, and, importantly, how to persuade them to share the information with you.

WHAT DID OUR PARTICIPANTS SAY?

»A chance to present your company to 300 entrepreneurs is definitely an exceptional opportunity, and if you prepare a good presentation, success is guaranteed. Not only will that increase your credibility in the eyes of your BNI colleagues, but it can also lead to actual business.«

Matjaž Pavlin, direktor Kompas Novo mesto, d. o. o.

»The BNI conference is a wonderful event where you can meet a multitude of people who want to network and collaborate with each other and are ready to take a proactive approach in pursuit of success. It’s not every day you can attend an event filled with so many positive entrepreneurs. An excellent programme, world-class speakers, and lots of great ideas on how to be even better«

Ksenija Prosen, direktorica Nucleus Plus, d. o. o.

»This is my first time at the conference and it’s been a very pleasant surprise. I’m learning a lot of new things that I’ll be able to apply in my own business. I’ve met a number of potential new clients and leads interested in doing business with us. The conference is definitely a good way to gain new experience, and it has given me, as an eye surgeon, an insight into a different aspect of entrepreneurship that will allow me to be even better in the future.«

dr. Boštjan Drev, lastnik in direktor Očesno Kirurškega centra Vidim d. o. o.

»Our participation in the 2016 BNI conference was an excellent experience for Gajcom. We proved that a good week is enough to put together an excellent team that can come up with an original way of presenting the company. Since our presentation included all the BNI Adria groups (Gorazd Rogelj of Picto.design provided the designs for the T-shirts and mugs), we got an excellent turnout and made a lot of great contacts. The BNI conference attracts the most proactive entrepreneurs, who are aware that they are not each other’s potential customers, but a source of business references and recommendations.«

Darja Kaltnekar, direktorica Gajcom d. o. o.
